This announcement uses the Certain Comp Service Positions direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Responsibilities
- Applies an extensive knowledge of design management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of methods, practices and processes of engineering and science disciplines.
- Ensures technical quality for assigned projects and serves as Engineering's point of contact for issues related to technical quality.
- Executes role of Contracting officer Representative (COR) on assigned Projects.
- Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations for projects of considerable scope and complexity as measured by their diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical and public issues.
- Collaborates with Project Manager (PM), Project Delivery Team (PDT), and Stakeholders to clearly de?ne project scope, criteria, and schedule.
- Creates, manages, coordinates, reviews, and provides engineering and technical advice relative to quality, design cost, and design schedule aspects in the production of all design, construction, and operations and maintenance products.
