THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1913000 and is part of the KY USPFO, National Guard. ***NOTE: This is a DUAL announcement with KY26-155-01, only one candidate will be selected for this vacancy.***
Duties:
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST - TITLE 32, GS-0343-9, you will review organizational information regarding inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination, reports, regulations, and activity mission statements to identify objectives and priorities regarding stock record operations. Conduct troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation. Provide management consulting services to improve operations for the state. Provide liaison assistance to external organizations with responsibility for coordinating their activities with the USPFO. Conduct management studies, prepare documents to present findings identifying and recommending corrective action. Perform supervisory and managerial responsibilities of assigned personnel. Define and interpret governing policies, procedures and regulations. Advise management of operating areas at risk of not achieving desired performance and recommends corrective actions. Develop operating procedures and instructions. Assign and review work to ensures production and accuracy requirements are met. Effect minor disciplinary measures and recommend actions in more serious cases. Identify developmental and training needs of employees. Improve production and develop performance measures, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
