Job description
The position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Financial Management Specialist, responsible for leading day to day finance activities of the organization.
Duties:
As a Supervisory Financial Management Specialist, GS-0501-12, your typical work assignments may include the following: Invoice processing: review, validate and process invoices and payment requests in accordance with federal financial regulations, agency policies and established procedures. Data integrity: validate and verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of financial and operational data entered into the financial management system. Transaction management: process, review and approve a variety of financial transactions, including obligations, expenditures and adjustments in compliance with federal and agency-specific guidelines. Operational leadership: perform a full-range of first-level supervisory responsibilities. Financial reporting: prepare, review and submit recurring reports detailing the status of funds, contract balances, delinquencies, and notification of errors to support informed decision-making, and accurate financial management data.
