The primary purpose of this position is to provides professional engineering expertise and direction to the JSE integration and operations teams. Oversees efforts of assigned military, civilian, and contractor engineers engaged in the development test and evaluation of JSE system architecture to support the digital test and training range for the organization.

Duties:
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Serves as the technical focal point in the development of the JSE digital test range, to direct, oversee, and integrate the efforts of military and civilian engineers assigned to develop and operate JSE. Formulates, directs, interprets, and applies test philosophy and policy for the organization to ensure technical validity, efficiency, safety and credibility in test and evaluation of the aerospace system and subsystems. Provides technical leadership to civilian, military and support contractor personnel engaged in executing the responsibilities assigned to JSE.
